IB Pilates® International Program Director
Montse Cosin is the IB Pilates® International Program Director and Workshop Coordinator. Montse holds a PhD in molecular biology and immunology.
Montse's passion for physical activity and teaching goes back to her beginnings as a ballerina and more than 30 years of international experience as a ballet teacher by the Imperial Society of Dance Teachers (ISTD). Montse has taught Pilates since 1991 and is certified, both on mat and in apparatus, by Stott Pilates® , Peak Pilates®, IB Pilates® and Julian Littleford Body Conditioning. She is also a Gyrotonic® Certified Teacher.
Montse is a “Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist” through the Pink Ribbon Program ,Inc. Montse has a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a Ph.D. on Molecular Mechanisms of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Montse is a Certified Pilates Method Alliance Teacher (NCPI-PMA®), an international presenter on Pilates, kinesiology and dance. She also teaches seminars for dance instructors and professional Pilates instructors and amateurs in Latin America, Europe and the United States at conferences and private events.
She was appointed by the PMA as Pilates Ambassador for the 2016 Pilates Day. She presented at the PMA conferences in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2018 and participated in the revision of the Spanish translation of the new PMA exam.
Montse is the training director and principal trainer of Integrated Balance at Studio Pilates, Majadahonda, Madrid. And in Zolo Pilates, Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Montse works with dancers internationally, and also with high performance athletes, helping them in their training, Montse works with breast cancer patients helping them in the recovery through Pink Ribbon Program,Inc as well as with children, the elderly, and the disabled.
Montse has her studio in Miami, where she is a Master Instructor and International Curriculum Coordinator for Integrated Balanced Education.
